Mottaret. (Chatelet-just past Plattieres lift Station)
Tucked
away at the far end of the piste, this area has 3 great little
lunchtime venues side by side. We've tried all three. Each is
different but all are good value. They are very easy to
reach for beginners + each one has its own sun terrace. Be sure
to seek them out. They are all quite inexpensive with fast
friendly English speaking table service. The set menus vary each
day. Be different. Take the few minutes stroll across the piste
and avoid the 3 valley lunchtime rush hour. |

Lunch 12-14.30.
Dinner 19.00-21.45.
The last but not least
in this super little group. With plat du jour €9, (always delicious!) a 3
course lunch at €15, and child menu at €7 (2 courses). There is ample choice
for everybody here, including vegetarians. This restaurant is very small and
last in line but has many regular customers. They serve really excellent
food with friendly service and the prices are VERY reasonable. In the
evening the speciality is a full 3 course menu for €22.00. Great value.
Snacks are available all day.
