The first snow falls in Meribel. Sunning myself here on a Greek island my makes sent me the photos. Snow in town and more on top. Looks good for 2015 season. Early cold spells often mean good snow for early December. From now on I shall report all snowfalls and any other news coming out of resort. Only 6 weeks left before it all licks off again!!

Merry Xmas and yes snow is expected this weekend. About 20cm – 30cm they say. Great. It is needed for the next busy week. This Xmas week has been very quiet so the snow has held up. Not wonderful but still possible to ski in all 3 valleys. I shall try to get back in to Twitter for instant updates starting this weekend.
Plenty of Après ski next week in all the usual bars. Make sure to pick up my lunch guides. All over town in all bars and restaurants. Very useful for good value lunches on the mountain. More as the conditions change…

Just heard 3 Valley links open. VT in pretty good shape but busy. Top runs in all 3 Valleys are open.
Not wonderful but there is skiing to be had no problem. Need a nice fall before New Year for sure but should be ok this next week as very quiet. Some snow expected end next week.
