This has long been one of our favorite mountain restaurants over in Val Thorens. Set high on the piste with wonderful mountain views it serves excellent food. The new restaurant owner and chef have created a fantastic new A la Carte menu.In our opinion this is now one of the very best mountain restaurants not only in Val Thorens but all 3 valleys.

La Chaumiere Restaurant

Another of our favourite Val Thorens restaurants. La Chaumiere restaurant has a very small sun terrace but beautiful large interior. Ski over the two bridges in to Val Thorens  centre station then just 30m to your right past the Val Thorens tourist office you will find it.A charming restaurant that is definetly worth a visit.

Chalet Les Sonnailes Restaurant

Take the long relaxing red Boulevard Cumin from Val Thorens  back to Les Menuires. Just before you reach Reberty this lovely little restaurant comes up on your left. This is one of the truly old traditional restaurants and is conveniently on your way back from Val Thorens. More>

Restaurant Chalet La Moutiere

This is one of the few self service restaurants we can recommend in Val Thorens. It is a very small charming traditional log cabin style restaurant. However it has a fabulous large terrace.Very inexpensive very tasty meals compared to others in Val Thorens.Try their Croque Madame & frites..9.80 euros.Excellent simple meal.

Frog & Roast Beef Restaurant.

One of the British run restaurants in Val Thorens. The restaurant is also a famous pub and is to be found in the centre of Val Thorens town. The food is traditional British food such as fish & chips, egg and chips, steaks & hamburgers etc.
