Brides-Les-Bains

Situated in the heart of the Tarentaise valley, Brides-les-Bains is a fantastic alpine village with its unspoilt ambience for all to see. Its natural surroundings in the area of the Vanoise National Park offer picturesque views and attract visitors of young and old alike, making it a great place to visit for your ski holiday

Brides-les-Bains is known locally as “the resort of elegant women”, due to the calm nature of the village and its excellent spa facilities and as well as the famous spas there are numerous activities available in the resort, with skiing obviously being the most popular. Skiers delight is guaranteed with the gorgeous areas of Meribel and the area of the Three-Valleys, reachable via the extensive network of cable cars. Skiers are spoilt for choice amongst the 600km of varied slopes, with something for skiers of all abilities and level of fitness. This includes 330 ski runs and over 1800 snow cannons to refresh the slopes, all of which are interlinked by 182 ski lifts.

Those of you who wish to branch out and ski new slopes can easily get from the Courchevel valley to Val Thorens and Les Menuires by simply skiing over the slopes, just ensure you know where you’re going before you try!

General prices in Brides-Les-Bains tend to be slightly lower than more popular regions such as the Espace-Killy region and Val Thorens and the restaurants are both good quality and value for money. Equipment hire is readily available, as are ski and snowboard instructors. Probably the best thing about visiting Brides-Les-Bains is the stark contrast of its setting with the more popular and busier regions. When you’ve skied all day you can relax amongst the beautiful surroundings and indulge in its peace and tranquillity, an impossible feat in the hustle and bustle of Val D’Isere. Brides-Les-Bains is ideal if you like to wind down as much as you like to ski down and if you do then you’ll be duly impressed.

The area is accessible with flights available from cheapflights.com and buses to take guests to their hotels up the winding mountain roads and is open for businesses all year.
Just don’t try to ski in the summer.
