Last Minute Long Weekends & Short Weekend Breaks in Meribel.

Weekend skiing or snowboarding in Meribel is very easy to arrange in low season.
Low season being before Xmas, during January (after new year) & April.
Accommodation is easy to find and quite cheap but has to be a last minute booking.
From just 100 euros per night twin room bed and breakfast.
Some chalets will also give very good prices for weekends.
High season is a different matter.
All Hotels, Chalets and Apartments will rent week by week only.
During high season weekend accommodation is very expensive & hard to come by. Expect to pay almost a weekly rate for a long weekend.

The Mountain Centre in La Tania is always worth trying at these peak periods, Hotels in Moutiers & Bride les Bains are also a good bet.
Fancy a day on the piste on a Saturday only. Then try this one:
Sleeper coach leaves 5pm Friday from London. (also Dover 8pm).
Arrives back London Sunday morning 9am.(or Dover approx 7am)
Usually arrives Meribel centre 10am.Ski till 4.30pm.Quick shower then leave at 5pm.
Total cost. 109 pounds return (last minute bookings only). I day lift pass approx 42 Euros.
We have done this trip. A great experience for the odd weekend break.
As you can only book this only a day or two beforehand you can check snow conditions areexcellent first. Perfect.....
