Les Menuires
Height. 1400-3300.
Resort Altitude: 1850m
Sadly Les Menuires is the original ugly duckling of the three valleys. It is sad because the skiing is fabulous here. The centre station certainly
lives up to this reputation but the newer sections of the resort at Reberty and Les Bruyeres are as attractive as any in the Trois vallees.
They have also planted many new trees so eventually the resort should improve ascetically.
This resort is in the same valley as Val Thorens & St Martin de Belleville and has some truly excellent skiing.
From the top of Plattieres and take Allamands (red) It’s a fast run and is not usually too busy Drop down Grandes Combes (red) to Gros
Tougne (blue) for the run in to Les Menuires. Bear right in the centre through the buildings, which takes you down to Masse 1. At the top pop
down to Masse 2 the second highest bubble in the 3 valleys. At the peak you have two excellent red runs. Cretes and Fred Covili. Both north
facing with excellent snow conditions. At the back of La Masse is also one of the best itineraries in all 3 Valleys.
Lunch: Head back down to Les Menuires via Les Enverses-Bvd Enverse. Take the Doron Chair lift then ski down Boyes (blue) to Reberty village
for
