Chez Kiki Meribel: Morel
Open for Dinner every evening.
This is without doubt the most famous restaurant in Meribel. An institution in itself Kiki’s is the haunt of the rich and famous. Kiki himself (who has been around longer than Cliff Richard!) still cooks his renowned C' du Boeuf (€52 for two) on an open fire. The beef here is absolute top quality. In addition to a superb choice of steaks, the menu also included fondues from €25 and fish from €25.

Salads started at €8 with a superb homemade Creme Brulee dessert at €10.The wine list is really quite incredible and crammed full of top quality wines. Don’t expect to find a pichet of house plonk here! This is an absolutely wonderful venue for a very special night out. A thoroughly recommended gourmet experience for those who can afford the highest level of style and quality.Note: Prices are from 2007 so expect slight increase.

Rough guide: 50-100 euros per person with wine.
