Meribel Free Bus Service
As soon as you arrive pick up a copy of the bus schedule. Apart from really bad weather they usually run to time but be warned are often very crowded. Do not be too polite otherwise you might never get on! A bit of pushing and shoving is sometimes necessary. Always Press the button for your stop early and get ready to push your way off.
New Years Eve.
One special word of warning. On New years Eve the last bus never comes in to town so do NOT wait at the Taverne. Go down to the Chaudanne Bus stop instead. The alternative is a long walk as Taxis are also extremely hard to find.
