The Meribel ski area has 3 distinct types of accommodation. The Meribel tourist office has a choice of hotels, B & B , catered
chalets and self catering apartments.Meribel also has a small tourist camping centre for at Raffort, 2 miles fom Meribel Town. |

Meribel has over 150 catered chalets and some are also available on a self catering basis.Some are listed in the Meribel Tourist

Meribel main town has 23 hotels with another 4 in Meribel Mottaret and 1 in Meribel Les Allues Village.All hotels are listed

Some Meribel hotels will do a bed and breakfast option. There are also budget chalets not far from the centre where Meribel Tourist

The Meribel tourist now has a choice of 16 restaurants (excluding hotels) ranging from basic pizzas, to Savoyard specialties
and fabulous 5 course

The main Meribel tourist area has some of the liveliest bars in the Alps, with a choice of 10 in Meribel Town, 1 in Meribel
les Allues, 1 in Meribel Village and 5 in Meribel Mottaret. |

Meribel Après ski is renowned. The liveliest tourist spots are the Rond Point up above Meribel 1600 and Jacks Bar in Meribel
main town plus LDV in Meribel Village. |

Meribel has at last count 24 ski shops, catering for all levels of skiers. The tourist in Meribel will find every ski on the market
for sale or for rent. |

| Meribel Snowboard Shops |
The main Meribel ski area has 2 exclusive snowboard
shops, with another at Meribel 1600.Also Most Meribel ski shops have snowboards
for rent and for sale. |

| Meribel Ski Schools |
The Meribel ski area boasts 11 ski and snowboard schools, plus many private instructors. The Meribel Mountain Guides office
will also arrange off piste excursions to the Gebrolaz Glacier & Heliskiing in Italy and Switzerland.The french ski school ESF
is located in the Meribel Tourist office. |

| Meribel Childcare |
Meribel has a special children's crèche at Meribel Les Allues village. It is staffed by qualified English nannies, who will
also travel to Meribel centre or Meribel Village for evening babysitting service. |

| Meribel Bus Service |
Meribel has a free bus service for the tourist but it gets very overcrowded in high season. It runs from 8 in the morning till just
before midnight. The bus travels between Meribel centre and Meribel Village/Meribel Chandon &
Meribel les Allues. Another service runs from Meribel centre to Meribel Altiport. A third service runs between Meribel centre and Meribel
Mottaret. |

| Meribel Taxis |
Meribel taxis can carry up to 8 tourist , but are very expensive. However they are necessary after midnight when the free Meribel
bus service stops. |

| Meribel Shopping |
Meribel has 36 shops, apart from ski and snowboard shops. These include all the latest fashion, photos, food, wine, local produce
& hairdressers. |

| Meribel Activities |
Meribel has a good selection of tourist activities other than skiing and snowboarding. Snow-biking, paraponte, snow shoe walks, 10
pin bowling. The Meribel sports area has a swimming pool, climbing wall, and ice rink. 2007.8 will finally bring a gym facility too. |
