Meribel itself has over 20 independent restaurants to choose from for lunch. There are 3 more lunch restaurants in Meribel Les Allues, 1 at Meribel Village and 11 more in Meribel Mottaret.

These numbers do not include hotel restaurants of which there are 4 in Mottaret and 16 in Meribel itself. Most serve a superb lunch at reasonable prices.

Alba Hotel Restaurant	This one will astound you. A 3* Meribel hotel with 5* restaurant service! We discovered it by local recommendation and it soon became one of our favourite lunch venues.

La Cava Restaurant	This is another great little restaurant situated at the top of Meribel by the Rond Point. Ski or board here or catch the free Meribel bus from town. It has a lovely little sun terrace, super food and very friendly service. More> .

L'Adray Telebar Restaurant	An exceptional up market restaurant just by the Adret chairlift at Rond Point Wonderful traditional interior with log fire + superb sun terrace. The food here really is top class and service is extremely friendly. More>

Le Roc Tania Restaurant	Le Roc Tania mountain restaurant has a fabulous location right at the top of Col de la Loze looking down to the Meribel Valley. If you want lunch on the Saulire side of the mountain with a fabulous view, then this is it. More>

Chalet Hotel Marie Blanche	You cannot write a good restaurant guide to Meribel without including the Marie Blanche. It's true. This is an excellent up market hotel restaurant right by the piste below the Rond Point.

Le Gran Luc	A beautiful new mountain restaurant (2004/5 season) on Gros Tougne boulevard at the start of the fast 6 man Les Granges chair lift below Tougnete on the way from Meribel to Les Menuires. Definitely well worth a visit this one. More>

Cactus Café	This is probably the most popular Méribel lunch restaurant for Brits. Situated right by the lift system, it's a perfect meeting place for groups of varying standards. Very simple and unpretentious in style. More>

Les Cretes Restaurant	This is a superb little restaurant at the top of Meribel's Tougnete draglift. It is a wonderful old log cabin with warm comfortable interior plus a beautiful sun terrace looking out over the Belleville valley. More>
