| The Meribel
Mountain Guide Office is situated at the Olympic Centre Chaudanne. These
high mountain guides are the only ones allowed to take groups or
individuals skiing on the glaciers. Most are also fully qualified ski
instructors but more specifically they are expert in off piste guiding.
In order to join them you should be an accomplished piste skier as some
ski touring involves excursions along the mountain ridges in the 3
valley area. If you are a private ski group then you can of course
choose your own personal tour according to ability. Off piste skiing &
ski touring is a fantastic experience involving superb powder or
beautiful spring snow. We have done it and thoroughly recommend the
experience to all who feel confident enough to give it a try. The
Meribel Mountain Guides will take your skiing/boarding experience to
levels beyond your imagination. It really is that good! |
