Most of those featured in this Meribel restaurant guide are visited discreetly by our undercover food squirrels each season. Many are recommended though our feedback section plus new little gems are discovered by word of mouth and our own random selections. We select them all for good value and friendly service. Some are real gourmet establishments, others just serve really great value simple lunch-time meals.

Eating out for lunch can be superb value throughout the 3 valleys. Let's hope this guide helps you in that quest. Most of the prices are last season but with the recent reduction in French VAT hopefully prices have stabilised or come down. Chefs and menus can also change each year but many of these family owned restaurants remain constantly good value each season.
