This old family ski chalet in
Meribel is situated in a superb situation just below Meribel 1600
on Route De La Renarde. It is simple and basic but very warm and
comfortable. All rooms have private shower , toilet and balcony.After
a fresh snowfall you can actually ski from the chalet down the
road to the piste. You can walk it in in 2 minutes. The chalet
is also just a 10 minute walk from Meribel Centre. Many ski chalets
in Meribel are quite some distance from the piste so this one has
a truly fabulous position.
It is very quiet here and noisy party animals are not welcome..sorry.(We
have other great options for you though in the centre of town).
This ski chalet caters for up to 16-17 people in 7 bedrooms all
with private toilet , shower and mountain views. Skis and boots
are left in the ski locker, with heated boot warmer.The chalet rooms are sold on a bed and breakfast basis.
The chalet owner also has a ski shop in Meribel centre and will
give 20% discount on ski and snowboard hire. Short ski trips are
also catered for at this chalet ,including weekend skiing or 2-3
day midweek ski breaks etc. One week bookings are also possible
mid week to mid week.This Meribel ski chalet owner is very versatile.
There is no catering facility , only tea and coffee and microwave.
However there is a ready cooked gourmet food home delivery service
now in Meribel.Its great and not expensive. (approx 10 euros per
main meal)
Prices per twin room inc B & B for 2 persons per night for 2008.9 Season.
These prices are for split week bookings in advance. VERY unusual in Meribel.
1 night only is 200-250 Euros.
2 nights 250-350 Euros.
3 nights 350-450 Euros.
4 nights 450-550 Euros.
5 nights 550-650 Euros.
6 nights 650-750 Euros.
7 nights 650-800 Euros
If your short trip/long weekend spans 2 separate normal weeks (our weeks are Sat to Sat) prices are usually higher. IE: Friday
to Monday or mid week accommodation Wednesday to Wednesday.
Normal lower B & B weekly price (Sat to Sat ) is:
600 -800 euros per week total for a twin room. Bed &
Breakfast for 2 people.
700 - 950 Euros for a triple bedded room. Bed & Breakfast for 3 people.
500-650 Euros for a single room. Bed and Breakfast for one person.
Please note this chalet will now take long weekend and short stay reservations in advance. However 1 night & 2 day weekends (just Sat-Sun) bookings
are only accepted last minute as this family chalet only has only 7 rooms for rent. Advance bookings for single nights and
