Chalet Bartavelle is a charming catered chalet run by owners Jerry and Bettina Mant. Their emphasis is on personal service, attention to detail and fantastic food in order to make your holiday as enjoyable as they can possibly make it.
	The Chalet The chalet offers a warm, welcoming feel. Originally a barn, it was converted into a ski chalet in 1974 and was re-renovated in 2002 to a high standard and so it is a blend of old charm and modern comforts.
	The chalet has a large living/dining room with a log fire and comfy chairs, in which to relax after a long days skiing. There is a good supply of books and games for your afternoon and evening entertainment, a stereo with CD player and high speed, wifi Internet access.
	Downstairs there is an additional lounge, with tv, dvd player and freeview satelite tv.
	The chalet has 4 bedrooms and a mezzanine, sharing three bathrooms.
	The Cuisine With an owner who is a professional, ex west-end chef, it surely comes as no surprise that they consider good food to be of the utmost importance for your holiday experience. Jerry is a chef with 20 years experience, working in Australia, France and some of the best restaurants in London. Each season he will put together a mouth-watering menu for you to enjoy.
The Views The views from the living room, balcony and bedrooms are truly amazing, looking down over the valley and up the mountain to the slopes above Meribel. In summer the view from the garden is equally stunning. Testimonial One guest, who described his holiday as follows, eloquently summed up this aim: ‘The most relaxing holiday I can remember having and still we skied loads. Like going on a skiing holiday and food holiday at the same time, either would make a good week, together is bliss’. The services As part of the service, they offer a twice-daily transfer to the main lifts in Meribel, so you don't have to carry your equipment around (It is also possible to ski on a blue run back to the chalet for most of the season). They will also be happy to help you organise your airport transfers, ski lessons, ski hire, lift passes, nannies or crèches and anything else you might need during your stay. The chalet is rented as a whole and sleeps 8-10 people.
