Well..Meribel and the 3 Valleys has had it's first good dump. Pictures from John at 3VT yesterday in La Tania. (1400m) Smae snow also fell down to Les Allues Village. So looking like a good start if temperature stay low.

Well, ski show has created the new season feeling and Meribel has a slight cover of snow already. Early snow is not always an indicator of a great season, but it can be. I still remember 2m by end of November about 12 years ago !!
Meribel opens on 4th December snow permitting.

This season is looking very busy already for New Year 26th Dec, 19th Feb school holidays and 5th March especially. For these dates get your bookings in fast.
The Little World Music Festival is back on 12th March , but sadly, due it seems to a lack of support from the Meribel tourist office, the Altitude Comedy Festival is moving to Austria.

A new piste is being created in the Altiport region for children to learn more about mountain wildlife. Make sure you ski them down Indians blue run in Courchevel too! learn about the North American Indians on the way.
