Meribel Mole's November Blog

27th Nov 2009.
My local friends tell me that Meribel has had various snowfalls over the past month..then warm temperatures arrived that melted snow on the lower slopes. However up above the middle stations it is looking quite promising, and with more snow forecast over the next 7 days it could well be another great start to the season. Heavy falls are expected Monday and Tuesday, and today the weather is pretty poor in the whole region with heavy rain down in the valleys, so fingers crossed for cold temperatures .I shall keep you posted. Limited lifts open in the whole Meribel valley on 5th Dec, and the Mole will be first one up there for sure! Photos will follow later in the week.

Accommodation:
Chalet bargains are popping in our mail box up for Xmas week and January already...but 26th Dec is almost sold out. (As is 13th feb) .Still some cheap B and B rooms left though..!!
New self catering service available for 2010. Hot ready to eat meals delivered to your door and a personal chef service for your own apartment or chalet ! E mail the mole for details..

Festivals:
Meribel has 2 great festivals for 2nd 2 weeks of March. Great time to book a Meribel ski holiday and catch some fabulous bands and comedians live too..More details coming but for sure Meribel is THE place to ski in March this year...
