yes..new snow expected for the weekend so be prepared if driving. Late season snowfalls can sometimes be very big ones, even though roads clear very quickly after it stops.
The last few days have been very hot..and sunny..and pistes have become very worn in places. This new snow is needed, although we still have over 1m up top.

The altitude festival is going well with top comediabs performing in various bars around town each evening.Great atmosphere.

Next week will see the start of the British Ski Championships each day at Chaudanne. Try to give some support.

Apres ski will be much the same as all season, but different bands...just look at old mole reports, or pick up our magazine when you arrive.

Yes, fabulous week of music, great weather and non stop partying.The boys say they are coming back next year too..so keep an eye out for it.

Sadly the weather has changed for the worse!!!!  Light rain Saturday and Sunday!! Rain Snow limit is 2300m approx...terrible. Bars are packed today due to the lousy weather. The only good news is that it looks like clearing about Tuesday with colder temperatures later in the week and some more snow with luck. So if all goes as expected next week might be very good.

Fabulous sunny weather last few days with spring snow conditions. This has been the warmest week of the season and great skiing on and off piste.
Add to this the great Little World Music Festival with Feeling and guests ..and we are having a superb 7 days.
Jacks bar also got everybody raving yesterday.They have discovered possible the best all round band I have ever seen in Meribel in 22 years! "29 Fingers" are just fantastic...but sadly only here for a couple of days..

begin with 7 days of top comedy in various bars all over Meribel. We are set for another fabulous week of entertainment here.

Weather over next 5 days looks very mixed with some new snow above 2300m (middle station), sunny periods, and warmer temperatures. Snow chains should not be needed if driving out.

So long as it does not rain !!!! and stays cold at night the snow looks fine for next week on piste and off.

Snow was still great on piste today although getting worn in afternoons. Weather is still freezing with minus 15 today up top..!!

Weather looks more or less ok for the weekend so snow chains should not be needed. With luck we will have another great week of piste conditions. This week was superb.

So Party time in Meribel next week. Non Stop !!!!

Snow is still great and weather has turned very cold again. Minus 12 yesterday at 09.00 at Chaudanne !!. More light snow is expected this week too.

The Little World Music Festival with "The Feeling" starts on 13th. Some accommodation IS left but most bargains have been snapped up now.

Ski Meribel still has seats left on the sleeper coach right in to town centre. 139 quid return from London Victoria on Friday afternoon. It is gonna be a great week. Grab a seat fast.

Snow is still great but weather has turned warm. It is showing first signs of spring snow if the weather stays warm and sunny and then freezes at night. This week has been mixed weather with very bad visibilty today.. More light snow is expected tonight but roads are clear at the moment all the way up to Mottaret due to high temperatures. Without a real heavy sudden fall snowchains should not be needed this weekend.

The Little World Festival with "The Feeling" starts on 13th and the Altitude comedy festival on 20th. Two fabulous weeks in Meribel..and looks like super snow conditions too...great time to grab a bargain..
