After the last season shocks of prices,most companies in Meribel are looking for ways of giving out the best deals due to the weak pound. keep an eye out here for bargains popping up during the summer months. There should be some good ones for all periods except New Year, and 13th Feb. which are both already looking busy..

Yes as is usual in April, hot afternoons..means slushy conditions but mornings are still great as snow is fine up top with still over 1m of snow cover.The last few days have seen cloudy weather, with just a few sunny spells. However we might still get another snowfall up top..

Last week saw end of British Land Ski championships with Dion Taylor our sponsor at Snow and Rock, celebrating his daughter's no 1 spot as the new British junior slalom champion..great performance..

Meribel is slowing down now with lots of end of season parties,but still time to grab a last minute bargain..lifts close on 26th April, so with quiet slopes..still a chance for a great value holiday..

Yes..just had more or less a fabulous week of spring snow conditions with hot sunny days, & cold nights, perfect. We still have 140cm op top so April is going to be great again this year. Conditions are superb to lunchtimes..then of course lower slopes get very slushy. Good idea to catch the bubble down from centre staions.

Meribel Town is still lively this week after the fabulous 2nd Altitude festival.

Still time to grab a late ski bargain..Cheap B and B and chalets and apartments are available next week..
