Sunday 10am and it is fabulous. 112cm of snow at top..45cm on lower slopes. VT is fantastic..as is all the 3 valleys at the moment. Skking this past week has been superb hence no mole reports for 7 days.. Been enjoying best conditions for 20 years.. More snow maybe on Tuesday night..

Other stuff unchanged:

Great bands are playing in all the bars again this season and Shibboleth are in great form as usual. Pick up a copy of Meribel Unplugged in town for the week's gig guide..As usual the Ronny is rocking every afternoon.. Keep an eye out for the comedy nights at Jacks bar also..Le Rastro is rocking still on Tuesdays up in Mottaret.

Restaurant news:.Rastro has a great new chef this year.Plus now has WEIFI free..... Refuge has good food and the lovely waitress Suzanne back again this year.. Boa Mil is under the new ownership of Fred.. the nice guy from Chez Bibi.. Food is fab .. atmoshere great.. and service very friendly... average prices for a very good restaurant.. great sunday roasts again at Evolution... Les Enfants terribles is getting excellent reviews this season. Eric is the new chef from Oasis.

Other stuff: The new relaxation area is superb..but is now 26 euros 1 visit...and no longer linked to the swimming pool..Herbal tea is served after also...great..

Snowjet have cheap flights to Chambery in January...and we have lots of cheap accommodation after new year...

6 inches snow in town last night and still snowing. Looks great for next week.. although bad weather..Could be fab for week starting 19th !!!!!!

Snow is still excellent above 2000m and VT was superb on Tuesday. Slopes are quiet as is usual in January so snow is holding up quite well. Weather has been quite poor most of the week and looks like continuing in to next week also with a mixture of snow and rain at resort level. The consolation is that snow should be great up top when it all clears.

Fresh snow last night but today rain in town sadly. Now all the crowds have gone snow conditions should remain good above 2000m for next few weeks as more snow is expected this week. Off piste is now dangerous at the moment.

New year was wild as usual ..esepcially at La Rastro in Mottaret..now we are back to normal again....

There is still very good snow throughout the 3 valleys..and now all the crowds have gone snow conditions should remain good for next few weeks as moer is expected this week. Off piste is hard and not worth trying till new snow arrives.

Temperatures have risen so hopefully we will not get rain !! Even if we do at village level should be ok higher up.
