Monday 23.4.07.

Meribel is closed now for skiing ,with a bus link to Mottaret which is open till 29th with lift connection to VT where snow is still excellent till lunchtime. We had our last day skiing today,ending with a fabulous lunch at Chalet Le Marine in VT..a wonderful new discovery. Top class food at very reasonable prices...We will update our 3 valleys restaurants guide over the next month or so..

Now it's time to start packing up...and starting new research for next season. Keep an occasional eye on this blog for the latest on Meribel. Chalets and other accommodation for next season will start becoming availabe soon so e mail us for any info you might need. Cheap flights start appearing in July for next season so book your long weekends in advance..We can find you great deals for weekends...just book well in advance.Also book your snow train early...it's the great way to get 8 days skiing in a one week holiday..or check with us for Friday night accommodation..nr Albertville... e mail our mole in Meribel..rob-smart@meribel-unplugged.co.uk. Sunday 15.4.07.

Not much to report..weather is still good but due to warm nights the spring conditions have deteriorated.We need some more freezing nights to restore what were superb conditions. VT is still very good but afternoons are now full of slush in Meribel due to the very hot summer style temperatures. If you are coming out then make the most of the morning skiing..then take a long lunch in the sun!!! Having said that I remember 1m of fresh snow in last week of April..so anything could happen..

Night life is winding down..but it is also a very sociable time in Meribel..withlots of impromtu parties..and BBQ's. This week sees the Charity day at La tania..one not to be missed..(Wednesday).

Thursday 12.4.07.

Mainly sunny and warm weather expected for rest of the week. Conditions above middle stations and in VT are superb. Slushy after lunch lower down.Still time for a great last minute bargain in quite spring conditions.Off piste spring snow is fab.... Nightlife is all winding down with end of season parties...Next week will still be great but a litte quiet. Wednesday is the La Tania charity day..Don't miss it..

Sunday 8.4.07

The snow is fantastic above 1800m all day ..with beautiful spring snow and almost 6ft up top. It gets slushy in the afternoons down lower as it is SO warm here now..bring loads of sun  cream..!!The weather this week will be mixed with sun.clouds,snow,and rain below 1800m..It was raining in town this morning but snowing above the middle stations..

All the bars and apres ski is winding down..this week..with seasonaires parties all over the place...Next week promises to be great skiing but quiet nightlife...still bargains here if you want a last minute weekend break..

Tuesday 3.4.07.

Weather is mixed..sun,clouds, with some snow and rain forecast,the limit tonight down to 1200m..just below Meribel..

The resort lifts close in Meribel/ Courchevel/ les menuires on 22nd but Mottaret stys open with Val Thorens link till 29th.

Snow is still fantastic up top..but gets slushy on lower slopes in afternoons.

Wdnesday is the Pub beach party, a sure sign it's all coming to an end..just 3 more weeks of partying !!

Nest report when conditions change..right now my advice is to get out for a last weekend bash...Loads of bargains around..
