Blame George Bush..global warming is playing havoc with our snow..Yesterdays cold snowy weather has now changed back again to spring temperatures with rain down in town..but luckily still snow up top..with more forecast tomnight..Snow all over the 3 valleys on the upper slopes is fab..but slushy down below middle stations.....Its still looking very promising for the rest of the season and we expect to enjoy loads of spring snow during April. We still have some superb cheap Meribel accommodation for April.... Apres Ski: Rond Point is still rocking every afternoon especially now the hot sun has finally arived (some days anyway!).... Jacks Bar and The Pub are the night party venues. Rastro Bar in Mottaret still rocks on Tuesdays. Evolution bar/restaurant is smoke free till 10pm.. non smoking & super food.Check out our airport transfer sharing forum if you are travelling independent. Could save you a bundle. This week somebody paid 419 euros.. Geneva to Mottaret...Crazy.. A local Cab company here in Meribel will charge just 280e for up to 4 people.As the public bus cost approx 70 euros p.p. it makes sense to try to share.

Wow.. winter has returned...loads of new snow last night and its still dumping right down to the town at this moment.. Snow all over the 3 valleys is now absolutely fab...Its looking really great now for the rest of the season and we expect to enjoy loads of spring snow during April. We still have some superb cheap Meribel accommodation for April.... Apres Ski: Rond Point is still rocking every afternoon especially now the hot sun has finally arived (some days anyway!).... Today is bad weather.. raining in town but fortunately snowing up top. Snow all over the 3 valleys on the upper slopes is excellent but the lower slopes have suffered with the recent warm weather,slush and rain. Its looking great up top for the rest of the season though and we expect to enjoy some fab spring snow during April. We still have some superb cheap Meribel accommodation for April.... Today was cloudy but warm again.Snow all over the 3 valley on the upper slopes is excellent.The lower slopes are becoming slushy in the afternoon due to the high temperatures. Local forecast says up to 15cm of new snow tonight with colder temperatures tommorrow. Its looking great for the rest of the season and we expect to enjoy some fab spring snow during April. The last two days were hot and sunny,with today reaching 20c at 1000m.. After a great fall of snow last week this week has been warm,mainly cloudy, & light snowfalls. Its raining today in town but snowing up top.Upper piste conditions are still very good and if the weather reverts to a normal pattern (Hot sun during the day and cold nights) it should be great with superb spring snow during April.We still have some ski bargains for late March and April.... We have been enjoying the best March snow for many years..and local forecast is now cloudy,relatively warm weather for next two days.The new snow has not happened..However this week has just been fantastic, powder,perfect pistes,blue sky and sun !!! After 4 days of the most fantastic cold powder,plus sunshine Tuesday.. It rained yesterday in town and this morrning but snowed on the top. Today should be mixed weather with snow again tonight down to below Les Allues.Tommorrow should be cold again with more snow and some sun forecast for next week..Fantastic...March is now looking very busy for bookings. Looks like the big dump has actually started..30cm fell on the top last night..Snowing today..between 1200-2000 so wet snow /rain in town right now. Tonight more is coming down to 300m and much colder tommorrow.!! Will be fantastic snow next week (more is forecast) and the rest of March...Practice putting on snow chains if driving this weekend.March is now looking very busy for bookings.
